About the teacher
Welcome to Sommer Elementary! I was originally born in New York, but grew up in Texas. I am a product of RRISD schools. I attended Forest North Elementary, Grisham/Deerpark MS, and I'm a graduate of Westwood High School. Go Warriors! I received my BS in Interdisciplinary Studies from Southwest Texas State University...currently known as Texas State. Yeah, Bobcats! I was previously at Deepwood Elementary School teaching 4th grade for seven years. I have been at Patsy Sommer since we opened and I couldn't imagine working at a better school than this one. We are proud Stallions! I have a daughter who is starting 7th grade this year. She loves tumbling and does competitive cheer with Cheer Athletics.
